Thank you, @SenMarkey, for your leadership on S.Res.150. At age 19, my grandpa Nishan Toumajan immigrated to Mass. in 1912, graduated from Burdett School of Business, worked as a bookkeeper at #BostonFishPier & sponsored family survivors of the Genocide to arrive on our shores.
The Armenian Genocide was horrific & U.S. foreign policy needs to reflect that grim reality in order to fully recognize its victims. US politics is more concerned about sanctioning Iran and bombing the rest of the ME and interfering in most countries in the world, making wars and bullying other nations. Why would they want to recognise the Armenian Genocide? They are best bodies with Turkey .
