The deadly flooding in the Midwest is what climate change in America’s heartland looks like and what it will continue to look like until we build resilient communities and reduce emissions that fuel extreme weather events. It's as if people living in a flood plain have never before encountered flooding from Spring snow melt until Carbon! This is what it will continue to look like, so long as there are four seasons...and people continue to buy homes & build cities in low lying flood plains.

In 1989, a noted U.N. climatologist predicted that countries would be washed away by the year 2000!

Every natural disaster will now be blamed on climate change won't it Eddie? I guess the Earth never had any natural disasters before we came along.

The only problem is it is not man made! And man cannot stop it. The cycles of the sun, tilting of the earth, variable distances from the sun due to orbital changes and decay of isotopes in the earth change the climate. The earth was actually warmer before man. So not our fault.

A major contributing factor to the extent of the Midwest flooding was that the ground was still frozen solid and couldn't absorb water. http://norfolkdailynews.com/news/national/news_national/heavy-rain-atop-frozen-ground-causes-flooding-in-midwest/article_d324ff22-472c-11e9-8a0b-6342d9892336.html … A little global warming could've helped.

The state of California can demonstrate how to economically mitigate rising sea levels, global flooding, sequester valuable "Sky-Carbon" by importing rivers of highly competitive hydrogen fuel safely stored in raw ocean water. The exhaust or ashes of burning hydrogen is fresh H20

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak. The floods were caused by snowmelt & rain. The frozen ground prevented water from seeping into the ground. Were these floods in 1935 & '47 climate change too? You people are sick!pic.twitter.com/rJCSqqTtA4
