Today, the Senate will vote on Naomi Rao’s nomination to the DC Circuit Court. She is the latest in a string of ultra-conservative judicial nominees. She has called climate change a “dangerous orthodoxy” & has implemented a climate change-denying agenda. I will be voting vote NO.
It’s bad enough that, with Donald Trump, we have a climate change denier in the White House, and with Andrew Wheeler, we have a coal industry lobbyist running the EPA. We don’t need a judge on the DC Circuit who is a sympathetic ally to their anti-environment agenda.
Wow, the Russian misinformation campaign is strong on this tweet. As an actual scientist, climate change is real-there’s no debate. I applaud your vote on this nomination.
