Instead of wasting billions on President Trump’s useless wall, we should invest in the technology that helps those on the frontlines detect and intercept illegal drugs like fentanyl at ports of entry and in the mail.

President Trump’s wall would do nothing to stop the flow of illegal drugs, most of which enter this country through legal ports of entry. It is shameful and disgusting that the President is trying to use the real crisis of the #OpioidEpidemic to build support for his vanity wall.

Correct. People will find a way to procure narcotics regardless if there is a wall or not. 45 is not keen enough to understand this simple concept. Funds could be spent on better drug education and rehab instead, which would have a far greater impact.

What would it do for illegal crossings. Where border barriers have already been installed, illegal crossing have decreased by more than 90%. Seems logical to put more where the border patrol say we need them.
