This is a textbook example of why it’s a bad idea
to let a business or industry self-regulate. They inevitably exploit their customers and communities. Developing sensible regulations for internet companies is self-defense.

Right, but by signing onto Facebook you are giving away that right- it’s not ‘your’ property and your DM’s not subject to common carrier laws— so, yeah. Needs regulation!
