As a part of this reported plan, the U.S. would have been required to lift sanctions on Russia. The State and Energy Departments should brief Congress on this immediately.

OTOH, it seems that strongmen dictators do like nuclear power and so if Saudis can source Russian nuke plants then I say go for it. It will cut their CO2 and Saudis use tons of electricity.
