It's terrible that this happened, but as an experienced high risk life insurance agent, there are a number of companies available that would underwrite this situation. The key is discussing this upfront with underwriters before the insured applies.
Nurses and other good Samaritans are being denied life insurance for carrying naloxone, a drug that reverses opioid overdoses. This could cost lives.
