When President Trump says a pardon for Paul Manafort is NOT “off the table,” that means a constitutional crisis IS on the table. Pardoning Manafort or otherwise obstructing the Special Counsel’s investigation would be a historical mistake.

I have heard the term constitutional crisis bandied about for months every time Trump crosses a new line. The truth is there will never be a constitutional crisis until EVERY member of Congress takes their oath to defend the constitution seriously.
