1/2 Senator, my husband I went to top Ivy League schools in the U.S. we both did our masters and then he got hired on H1b while I was on a short maternity break. We’ve been in the U.S for 8 years and still not got a greencard and @USCIS wants to revoke the work permit that I’m on

2/2 We are from India and waiting in DECADES long line for our greencards and now my permit (
#H4EAD) May be revoked by the govt. A big reason fr us to stay back after graduation was to pay back our $ student loans. I sometimes regret investing my time and talent in the U.S - 1 more reply

Senator, there is a huge green card backlog for students from India and China . This means that they cannot have long term stability and plans in US and would prefer to go to other countries like Canada, EU etc. These GC backlogs also make students feel unwelcome.
