A free press and the right for anyone to voice dissent ensures that world leaders remain accountable and every individual may speak truth to power. As a country built on the foundation of freedom of speech, we can't be silent when this fundamental right is under attack elsewhere.
This is good but not enough. We need immediate & binding sanctions on the Saudis. I am heartsick about the death of that journalist & even more heartsick about the US response. Trump is shaming our country.
