Folks here have no idea how long they will be away from their homes, it will be safe when they return, when they’re going to get hot water or be able to use their stove. It’s an absolute mess. I’m on Main Street in Andover & I think I’m the only office open. Totally unacceptable
Shortly before 5pm yesterday, gas explosions ripped across Lawrence, Andover, and North Andover, setting dozens of homes ablaze, injuring more than 20, and killing one. He was asked a direct question and if you watched, it was very clear he was being diplomatic. He didn't have to say otherwise. It was clear from the content & delivery of previous statements that the only thing "adequate" was the workers on ground.
