To be clear: I’ve read the summary of this bill and here’s who it helps: The poor officers and agents forced to endure overtime hours. The children separated from their parents, sleeping in feces in overcrowded cages and dying? This bill makes things worse for them.

What would this bill do to the Americans citizen (with a Mexican name) who was recently detained for 23 days, losing 26 pounds and refused showers, forced to sleep in filth, despite producing a valid drivers license and birth certificate when it was requested? Zero.

American citizens being detained in concentration camps because ICE says they "can't trust IDs." At the same time, GOP enacted strict voter idea laws under voter fraud myth when truth is they just did it to keep poor people from voting & to make it harder for everyone to vote.
