Adding a Constitutional amendment to protect this symbol of freedom and liberty is not an attack on another Constitutional amendment; rather, it is an affirmation of the unifying principles our nation stands for. #FlagDay2019

In the only oath I ever took that mattered, I swore allegiance to the Constitution. We are the United States without a flag. We are NOT without the Constitution.
