Barr’s nomination is another example of one side unnecessarily holding up a qualified nominee- who is inevitably confirmed anyway- only because of political posturing. The current system does not work. Both sides need to come together to reform the way we handle nominations.

This wasn't even a political nominee. The list of ambassador nominees to be confirmed was long and most were not confirmed for a year or more after being nominated. Seems to me that Barry's confirmation was expedited. I find your indignation in this matter is quite ingenuine.
