We need a law for this?
-

Yes, because without law (and thus an obligation not to discriminate), it’s hard to hold people accountable for discrimination or offer remedies to victims. In other parts of the world, not being subjected to discrimination is a human and constitutional right.
-
I think it is also a right in our country, I believe we have a fair amount of anti-discrimination laws!
-
Since States are still able to pass discriminatory laws (like denying adoption because of sexual orientation), I think it’s necessary to do something. I haven’t read the new bill though so idk what effects it’d have.

Oklahoma has introduced a bill that discriminates against single people & nonchristians adopting children as well as LGBTQ people.https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna870186 …

Please consider including disability as well. It intersects with all of these other forms of marginalization.

Don’t we already have laws that protect that?
-
Depends on the state. There are a startling amount of states that can discriminate based on those factors. https://www.hrc.org/state-maps

When are you going to insist on charges/investigation into the actions of Nunes as an accomplice to treason, obstruction of justice & potential juror tampering? He is also not running his Committee ethically.

That also reminds me: I once observed neo-Nazis standing in front of the Smithsonian protesting free speech! That’s what extreme right wing people like Trump and Richard Spencer want: to diminish free speech and free thought so they can have more control over Americans.
