Here’s what’s going on in the Senate Judiciary Committee right now: traditionally, judicial appointments are only considered once Senators from the state where the nominee will be appointed indicate their approval by turning in what we call a “blue slip.”

For those of you who follow
@SenKamalaHarris who entered the Senate in 2016 & immediately attacked Trump, be aware-Harris's sister is@mayaharris_ MSNBC political analyst& her brother-in-law@TonyWest Gen. Counsel of Uber&former U.S. Justice Dept senior official. -
Sooooo...? I believe
@SenKamalaHarris can speak her own mind. Plus...Trump deserves to be put in check. -
The party in power has every right to put justices in place...as has been done by EVERY President
-
And Republicans blocked Obama’s pick - purposely and blatantly - and just thus week ignored a 100-year “blue card” protocol giving home state legislators (both sides) the courtesy of the deciding vote on appeals court justices. That is not fair play IMO.
-
They were just playing by the "Biden Rule" of not confirming a lame duck's appointment. Don't knock Republicans for playing by Democrat rules....

As in the famous words of Obama, “elections have consequences”. Now it time for constitutional judges.

Amazing how you try and take standard operating procedure utilize by ALL Presidents and make it seem sinister under Trump. So have you figured out a platform yet? The whole DACA thing seemed to work against you after Americans figured out how expensive it is. Good luck!

No genius, they’re wanting to confirm judges that follow the Constitution. Something your party consistently fails to do...

Yup and of course, liberals would never vote for nominees who agree with them idealogically. You really should stay off social media. Your lack of intellect is on display every time you tweet.

It works both ways. How did the 9th circuit get stacked with liberal activist judges??

And Dems want to confirm judges you DISAGREE with? What a nonsensical statement. You should stick to public posturing in public hearings in which you read questions and statements prepared by your staff. It would be less embarrassing for you.

As the corruption and coverup by the GOP continues this is what’s happening. Judges are being appointed that will have long term ramifications. Thank you
@KamalaHarris for calling it out. -
The whole reason to vote for Trump was to take back the Judicial Branch of Gov't. That will stop liberism for at least 2 to 3 generations.

So we can get back to enforcing the law instead of legislating it from the bench.
