He truly does. I think he hates them because he "succeeded" and all poor people should too. He's too heartless to get the fact that not all ppl get the same chances, opportunities, intelligence or even pure luck!
-
Spot on. I know someone like this. That’s exactly what they think— and they love Carson!

-
I think so...you see it a lot in life. A person comes from meager means, gets a little success and all of a sudden they hate the poor. Even rant about assistance programs, the exact ones they grew up on!!
-
You are so right. I started working at age 11 growing, picking and selling fruit. My mom, sister and I were helped by social http://security.My first job was for disadvantaged youth. I became a doctor. Why would I not want to support and enhance the programs that helped me?
-
Very proud of your success and determination to help those in less fortunate circumstances. This is the way we should all be. I'm a PharmD, but due to numerous health issues I can no longer work. It hurts me that my days of volunteering or help with rx prices for the poor.
-
Take up your RX battle with the Big Pharma and Lobbyists who buy Washington. This is not
@potus administration fault. Its all before him. Go after them, lets see you boycott. -
It is 45*s fault if he does not do everything in his power to limit Big Pharma and the lobbyists. He has great discretion in these matters and is not working on behalf of the people, Take Mulvaney's comments as one example. He only talks with lobbyists who give him money.

Ben Carson much like Pruitt was hand picked to dismantle the organizations they run. They function much like the GOP in that regard.
-
And Rick Perry. And Betsy DeVos. There wasn't much hand picking involved. They ANNOUNCED they considered their job to be to destroy each the particular part of the government they oversaw , as did Tillerson and Pompeo set out to destroy State.
-
What boggles the mind are people that think this is a useful activity. I'm sorry we need an effective state department. Clean water and air would be nice. Funding for NIH etc. These people a pure poison.

Once again shattering the notion of “brain surgeon” as a reference to intelligence. Thanks, Ben!
-
Surgeons are technicians. It takes reasonable intelligence, diligence, but mostly mechanical skills. It does not require either wisdom nor compassion. I know because I was one prior to retirement and have worked with many who demonstrate neither.
-
One would prefer a skilled surgeon as opposed to one with wisdom.
-
The two are not mutually exclusive. It's not true in any event. The wise surgeon will know when not to operate. The one who is not wise will see the scalpel as the only solution.
-
I didn't say they were mutually exclusive. You made comments referencing this. Do no omit the surgeons who operate because trophy wives cost a lot of money
-
True, but you did pose a "which would you rather have... "Either /or" type question with regard to a post of mine. Since I do not adhere to either/or thinking, I responded.
-
I don't really have any questions about surgeons, I am a nurse.

It's Ben Carson.....he doesn't care about low-income households. He is probably getting some type of kick back from it, no doubt.
-
Got a few dollars in his pocket and forgot where he came from.
