Ms. Harris here is a good reminder to everyone that activist do not make good politicians. They are mostly all talk and no action. We need real leaders in positions of powers not these mouth pieces.

Yeah, all those people in prison are there because they are poor minorities. Not because of the felonies (many of them violent) they committed.

Legalize cannabis for a start

All other counties in California and other states that have decriminalized cannabis could also follow the example of San Francisco County and _apply decriminalization retroactively_.

@KamalaHarris has done nothing for my daughter who was raped by two illegal immigrants at knifepoint except enable the rapists to evaded capture by providing safe haven in California’s sanctuary city laws that protect criminal aliens.@SenKamalaHarris is a corrupt.pic.twitter.com/Q0DDlKe4A6

This won't even come close to getting under control until the privatization of prisons is eliminated. Until then too much $$ to be made. And they're the easiest and most defenseless in society.

Prisons for profit treat incarcerated people as a commodity. The prison-industrial complex siphon off tax dollars when money would be better spent on rehabilitation to reintegrate people into productive life.

I'm sure some Caucasians are in there too. Greed has not respect for skin color usually, but I get your point. Why wasn't this addressed under Obama? I do feel these horrible issues were secret too long -- or at least, not visible enough. Feeling "stuck," Kamala! Let's undo!

The number of people incarcerated in the US peaked in 2007-2008, and declined slowly over the course of Obama's presidency. That trend must be continued and accelerated, rather than reversed (which Trump, Sessions, et al. are trying to do).

This is rooted in the “systems “ in place... the overarching “legal system “ is merciless to the poor..it’s deliberate and meant to control!

You are clueless, Kamala Harris. Black, brown, and poor people need jobs. They aren't inherently bad people or criminals. You should be helping Pres Trump create jobs for our citizens. You should also be encouraging strong family structure, education, and positive values.

Yes, I agree we need to incarcerate as many criminals as possible no matter what color they are. Do you think we have a black and brown criminal problem? Or is it just a demographic issue?
-
Kamala likely sees it as racist to incarcerate blacks, and browns. I find it quite odd she didn't just say "people", instead of partaking in the Identity Politics shenanigans. What people don't see, is that she is grooming votes for November.
