Great! How is all this free stuff paid for?

Repealing the
#GOPTaxScam for people with income > $200k would be a good start, netting over $2 trillion. Also, Medicare-for-all is not free. The question is if the tax increase would be less than what we currently pay in premiums, deductibles, etc, and it would be. -
As far as min. wage, this is also not free. Employees are paid for work they do, and deserve a living wage if they're working full-time. CEO's make over 270x the average worker pay, as compared with about 35x in the 1980's, when Saint Ronald was President.
-
You deserve nothing. Pay is based on skill and value you bring to the table. And I can’t worry about what a CEO makes. This equality of outcome argument is infuriating and totally absurd.
-
People do bring skill and value to the table, they’re just not adequately compensated for it because a disproportionate share of the money circulates at the top. So, you should be concerned what CEOs make...it’s quite simply obscene.
-
Minimum wage jobs are by definition entry level jobs. And just how am I entitled to anything a rich person makes, just because I exist? I really need that explained to me.
-
Minimum wage jobs are NOT entry level by definition. I work with a great number of people who’ve spent years at a job and are no longer entry level and do not earn a living wage. CEOs do not need to earn more than 200 times the lowest paying job.
-
May I ask what this job might be? Because most people would leave a job if they were not extended pay raises during their tenure. That’s called a “dead end” job.

Absolutely! Adding ratification of the
#EqualRightsAmendment to the list!

All girls and women on US soil deserve guaranteed rights in the US Constitution.

Yes! If we have enough money to cut taxes on businesses and the wealthy, then we defintely had enough money to improve the lives of every US citizen. An educated and healthy citizenry are essential to a thriving economy.

Just 1 question for now. Where are you going to get all that $$$$$$ for all that Free Stuff?
-
Well we just rec'd cuts on a lot of the free stuff and raised the deficit by $2 trillion and still need $ for infrastructure, so I guess the free stuff cost less than we think
-
Nothing in life is free, except for the air you breathe. Only way to achieve Kamala's dream policies, taxes would have to be increased. Government needs to be fiscally responsible, what Kamala wants is far from that.
-
Raising the deficit courtesy of trumps tax plan wasn't fiscally responsible.... try again.
-
Obama doubling the National Debt was not fiscally responsible. Spending taxpayer money on stupid things is not being fiscally responsible, much like the Omnibus spending bill. Taxes should be cut even further.
-
Which will further increase the nation debt. So what do you propose.

This is an absolute joke. Free tuition and Medicaid for All would increase taxes. Increasing taxes is not how you give people Freedom.
-
Germany would disagree with you.
-
We're not talking about the gateway to hell here.
-
No, we're talking about Germany, a successful democracy, which has free college tuition and National healthcare. You said you couldn't have those things and people have freedom, but clearly you can.
-
Germany is a country with ~85 million people, compared to the US' 327 million. This has more to do with fiscal responsibility, than it does anything else. With how the US government spends money, foreign and domestic, universal healthcare and free tuitions would never work.
-
Nope. What has been done there can, and has been, done with other places. Sounds like you're trying to find excuses to derail the idea more than anything else. You don't like the debt trump is racking up with this reckless spending and ill advised tax cuts?
-
Tax cuts are good, as they'd allow Americans to have more of their hard earned cash. I am worried about the National Debt, which Obama did not help when he doubled it. The US cannot be responsible for the welfare of the world, and it's own citizens.
-
Most Americans won't reap the benefits of those tax cuts. Rich people will. If you don't care about trump crippling future generations with the trillions he's adding to the national debt, you don't get to complain about anyone else. End of story.
