I can’t believe a country like yours does not have universal Medicare. It’s actually cheaper as whole. And the decent humane thing to do. Look at Australia or the UK for example. Basic health needs should not depend on income.

A civilized society puts the welfare of its citizens above all other considerations. Every single citizen should have adequate healthcare, housing, food & education. We are not civilized in this country because it’s run by medieval robber barons.

Great. More stagnant incrementalism. More non-resolutions to avoid doing the only right thing. Medicare for all is the only right answer. Politicians who fail to recognize that will be in the unemployment line very soon.

like the standards at the VA hospitals? Government programs have such low standards they shouldn't even have any.

How do you plan on paying for this stupidity? Do you even try to understand how many of US middle Americans would be hurt but helped be this? I work in healthcare for hospitals and ACA is an f’ing disaster. Just stop!
-
Laura aside from your colorful language you must remember that Healthcare before the ACA was a disaster on steroids. Maybe some funds for heathcare could have been squeezed out of that 1.3 billion dollar boondoggle.
-
Not true, all of the payers that are in ACA are also commercial payers. They have increased premiums across the board and decreased covered services because of the burden and many providers won’t take it because of low compensation. How is that better?

Govenment shouldnt be involved in healthcare, you are supposed to govern, not rule. Thats why we are in this mess
-
Gladys the definition of govern is to rule. The mess we're in is because of who is setting the healthcare rules. At least people like Senators Warren and Harris are trying to find an alternative to the current for-profit dysfunctional Healthcare System.
-
Sorry govenment has no business in healthcare

We lead the world in New and improved drugs and medical procedures because of capitalism. Socialism will lower the standard of care.

We all have the solution, and we've had it for 2 centuries. Get government out of health care's business, and let the market forces drive it to where it should be. But then, you two goons wouldn't have the big $$ careers in the oligarchy you have, would you?
