Sure @SenKamalaHarris, sure. As you are already aware, the issue is that the government has done squat for a generation to end illegal immigration--at ongoing expense to CA & US taxpayers.
And now, our Confederate State of California has granted "sanctuary" to illegal immigrants

Hey, just curious, how do you know illegal immigration costs the US and California money. Sources? I’m a DACA recipient. I paid taxes with an ITIN for years and so do 90% of my fellow undocumented immigrants that I know. Also everything I’ve read with sources supports this.
-
I’m honestly asking and I hope we can have a civil conversation about this.http://www.politifact.com/punditfact/statements/2016/oct/02/maria-teresa-kumar/how-much-do-undocumented-immigrants-pay-taxes/ …

As you probably know, the bulk of US and CA income tax revenues come from a small fraction of all taxpayers. Exactly how many illegal immigrants do you think fit the high-income profile?pic.twitter.com/xj82YnqXAK

Answering my question with a question is not an answer. And I didn’t ask about tax revenue. I merely mentioned it from my side. Where is the data that says we cost money?

Here's the report. My apologies if I forgot to include it in the previous Tweet. https://fairus.org/issue/publications-resources/fiscal-burden-illegal-immigration-united-states-taxpayers …

Hmmm. Well I may disagree with some of your choices for sources and opinions, but thank you for responding to my tweets in a respectful manner.

So it has nothing to do with the fact that you don’t want better border security and to get rid of unnecessary immigration programs?
-
What part of "The GOP controls House, Senate, and WH" do you have so much trouble with?
-
None. But she talked about creating a bipartisan agreement -- their refusal to compromise on border security and the Diversity Visa Lottery is holding it up. Since the GOP has control, they should just pass it without Dem support.
-
Nobody is asking them to compromise on border security. They're being asked to capitulate to a dumb, expensive wall that won't improve security. That's not a compromise.
-
Not true. They are pushing for a clean DACA bill. They want to negotiate the other components separately -- of course, they don't plan to compromise on any of it. If they get DACA, they won't give on any of the other issues.
-
Republicans spent the last 8 years working to make sure nothing Democrats put forward could get passed. Now you're complaining that they won't allow you to do the thing they campaigned vociferously against. How's it feel to have the shoe on the other foot?
-
Trump himself, after the initial backlash about DACA, said he supported taking care of them, but Congress needed to do it. Congress came up with a bipartisan provision and WH said nope. Congress, surprisingly, is trying to work together. WH is sabotaging itself and us.
