Immigrants from countries across the globe - including and especially those from Haiti and all parts of Africa - have helped build this country. They should be welcomed and celebrated, not demeaned and insulted.

Me and my family’s bloodline hail’s from the ‘shithole’ country of Africa, Haiti, and Caribbean countries. I hope I’m welcome. A good deal of our family have worked for many years for the Justice Dept, DoD, Treasury and State Dept, etc. We are proud of our heritage! How awful

I’m partially First Nation (57%) and indigenous to CA. Our country is meant to be the land of the free with liberty for all.

Someone needs to call him on this, to his face, on live TV. The
@GOP cannot keep hiding behind "he doesn't know any better" or "we just ignore his tweets". That ain't gonna cut it anymore@SpeakerRyan@LindseyGrahamSC@SenateMajLdr -

A group of 18 Senators, including
@SenKamalaHarris, has introduced legislation to#ProtectTPS: https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/senate-bill/2144/cosponsors?q=%7B%22search%22%3A%5B%22temporary+protected+status+feinstein%22%5D%7D&r=1 …. Everyone in all 50 US states should tell their Senators to endorse this bill if they have not already, and to pass it immediately. - 1 more reply

On the contrary. Ireland would've been described as a "shithole" country a century and a half ago, and yet millions of Irish escaped poverty and famine to make a new life in the US. This blatant disregard of history and our own ancestry is absurd.

Only because they and their home country men are light enough to blend with the "majority." Darken them a bit, different story/history.
