It still passed. And Donald John Trump is still your President. Merry Christmas.

Yours, Bobo! Not mine, never mine. Are you a racist, or crazy, or just stupid?
-
Hate to tell you this. But you are in the minority. There are a few million more of us that didn't vote for a reality show host.
-
That is not true. The silent majority has spoken.
-
You do know that majority means "most" right? You're neither silent nor a majority.

Easy decision

I thought, what the heck... why not try a spot poll to see if it becomes a bot target

-
Normally, I would say what the fuck, but we have to mind our manners now... which I get... but it still is a form of controlling the language. But on the other hand, if it virtually punches a NAZI... well then... GOOD

Kamala, I get a windfall. We own a pass through business, but I am against this bill. I have enough and I don't like watching people beg for food for healthcare. A great country cares for all of its citizens.
-
I love your thinking, almost as if you realize you live with others

Thank you for telling us the breakdown of pro and against. My senator, Rob Portman, won't ever tell us what proportion of comments are for or against the tax bill. I bet the breakdown is pretty similar to what you are seeing, and yet he voted for it. Shame on him!
-
I don't think that
@SenRobPortman wants us to know that he regularly votes against what a majority of his constituents want.

Lemme guess Senator... the 2.4% are McCarthy, Issa, and other California Rs who voted for it?
-
Issa actually voted no, but guaranteed it’s only because he knows his shot at reelection would be toast if he was a yes. Plus GOP didn’t need his yes so he got a free pass from them.
-
His shot at reelection is already toast.

Latest polling shows Issa losing to a generic Dem by about 10 points IIRC.

Couldn’t agree more. All of his democratic challengers are great and I have no doubt that any of them would be a better rep than Issa.
-
I have not checked all of them but the 2 I have looked at both look qualified and intelligent.
