The late, great George Carlin predicted all of this. Watch them come for our Social Security next. Nothing less than contemptible.

Carlin mentions in his monologue, "... the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it."

To Luv. No, not end times as fantasized by wandering, overheated old man. These plunderings of morals, and treasuries is as old as counting.

Portion of this 1.5 trillion is guaranteed to go back in GOP contributions to perpetuate this evolving Autocracy! NO LONGER ENTERTAINING!!
-
Tax savings to the venal 1%, then converted to donations to super PACs for the 1%. Grifters

Is that the point of it I'm seriously asking no trolling. Are they all for real conmen? It seems so and that's mind blowing

-
Their existence is founded on & funded by th notion of developing an electorate that can b fooled in2 voting against thr own best interest.

Ok ... Thank you. that's my quandary tho. It goes in easy to measure cycles right? Howwwwwww do they not remember from disaster to disaster what happened the last time?? I was here for the 80's I ain't see THAT trickle down come thru YET. It's the same things!
-
“Same”, but WORSE! I believe in the 80’s National DEBT was about(?) 24% of GDP. Today it’s +70% .This strategy as timely as trump’s Grt Wall
-
You get my meaning tho right? It's easy to see every time so why on Earth not pay attention? Something ain't right with their heads

That's goona be a bummer for everyone with a grandparent or parent needing nursing home care. Better start looking for a 2nd & 3rd full time job. You're going to need it.
-
Just had to put my mom, a widow, in a rehab facility because of a stroke she suffered. The insurance has been a nightmare and is going to get worse. This is awful.
-
It's terribly hard. My dad required skilled care in a nursing home towards the end of his life. If they make huge cuts to Medicaid, the cost of nursing home care will be a very heavy burden.
-
Thank you. My mom had stroke during Hurricane Irma
& since then has been in 3 facilities. 1st made One Flew Over the Cuckoos nest look great, 2nd was 14 days "charity" bc didn't take her insurance. She makes "too much" (her SS from working for state) to get straight Medicaid.

If you have an Aging Resource type of agency in your area I would highly recommend you contact them for assistance. We utilized one and they were very helpful. Sorry about your mom. Lost my mom recently. You'll get thru this difficult time.
-
Yes, also you can hire a professional aging specialist social worker to help you coordinate and locate resources. Often Worth the cost.
-
I didn't know this existed. I can't thank you enough for passing this info on, you don't know.
I'm looking into it right now. -
As a retired nurse Im losing sleep thinking of the elderly who have nothing left & depend on Medicaid. What will happen to them!?
