Must get rid of for-profit prison's, would be a start.

Inmates that are sentenced have to relay on family and friends for money for phone calls, decent footware, commissary etc. Its about $$$$$$

If the system was designed to rehab an inmate, why does restitution incure interest? Its a fine not a loan? They end up paying double
