Why don't you explain to us why the San Gabriel Monument was laid over the Angeles National Forest and the Cucamonga Widerness??

No one explained why this was needed. If we knew why, we might be able to support it's continuation.

Here's my guess. The Mon. was laid over Angeles in the West, and then extended over hills near the Valley to stop development.

There is nothing "monumental" about those hills at all. Obama abused the National Antiquities Act to stop development.

And, a number of the other so-called monuments were done for the same reason. I hope all of his "monuments" are de-monumentalized.
