@SenateDems WHY? Let them register the year they turn 18. Effective. Saves money. Will be current info. SMH @ CA

Making it easier for potential voters to register means more of them are able to vote. Don't object to efforts to respect the right to vote.

struggling for votes! Most 16-17 year old don't know the difference between their ass and a hole in the ground & you out us in their hands
-
The teens I know are pretty bright and savvy. I trust their judgement over the old white dinosaurs that saddled us with 45. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Kids that age are only worried about a boyfriend or girlfriend. Age brings wisdom..maybe one day you'll grow up and be smarter..not today
-
I have a 16 year old boy and I couldn't disagree more. He's more socially aware and knowledgeable of the issues that most adults.
-
I've seen colleg interviewed, shown photo of prominent political people they have no idea who it is. Of course you think your son is smart

16 and 17 y/o are known for their wisdom and since they pay so much of the crippling state tax bill, they deserve their voice to be heard.
-
The right to vote is not determined by how much someone pays in taxes. Let no one pretend otherwise.
-
Of course not. But if one has no skin in the game, why not vote for every ridiculous bond issue? At 18, they can do so. It's easy.

I have 3 daughters of voting age, they are all voting! If we Dems all get out and vote, we can win elections on our own! Thanks Ms. Harris
