It's been 48 years and this has me sitting in my living room behind closed drapes with my hands shaking and tears in my eyes.

40 years for me. my PTSD is really acting up today too. You're not alone.
-
Thank you. It's been a really rough day. You hang in there too.
-
Hanging in there best I can.
-
We all are. It's helpful to know that we stand together and not alone.
-
It truly does help. We are a sisterhood and our voices are being heard.

That's why I'm not watching. I know these men in their high seats. I've been through the questions. They. Don't. Care. Nothing will stop them from getting what they want. This Republican committee reaffirms the power they believe they have over women.

**A best and trusted friend, and fellow survivor, convinced me to watch. I'm here!!

Ford's testimony today - so far - has failed to introduce any extrinsic facts substantiating her bald-faced accusations. Her own so-called witnesses refute her testimony. She will be disregarded and rightly so. As you know, the burden of proof is on her -- not Brett.
-
She passed her lie detector test. Not him.

Let’s face the fact there is no way in the world you would support Kavenaugh even if we had a video from back then showing he wasn’t there. You have made your decision so quit the dog & pony show. Kavenaugh has undergone 6 FBI background checks

Please call out
@ChuckGrassley for this opening statement defending#Kavanaugh -
This opening statement does not express sympathy for victims of sexual assault, is politically dreadful, and puts out front the old men of the Senate who are eager to discount the claims of the woman about to testify
-
Why sympathize with no police report, no facts, no memory, no witnesses. She is a joke.
-
It's clear you haven't ever read
#WhyIDidntReport , devil. -
Dealt with many cases. Military has restricted and unrestricted reporting. Brave report and it is prosecuted, those who keep to themselves (confidential) rarely get the justice they should, but its accusers choice. Also saw false allegations ruin young careers. Thanks anyway

You can keep your excuses

She. Was. Fifteen. In the 80s. And his mom was a lawyer. We can't even convict Brock Turner, found by strangers on top of an unconscious woman, for more than a few months in the modern era. How do you think that would've gone down?
-
Hmmm more excuses, parents failed her if she couldnt go to them and if it happened for real, there would have been signs if they had their eyes open. Too little too late in this case, no credibility after 30+ years.
