As a gyn, I want to reiterate this. If you believe that you & not your government should decide your health care, when & whether to have children, you must take this seriously. Kavanaugh believes, unconstitutiaonally the government has the right to dictate reproductive choices.

I see a bigger danger here. According to Constitutional Law Professor
@tribelaw if the government can force a woman to carry a fetus to term it can also force a woman to abort a fetus. -
That is the other side of the coin. Not many have brought that up so thank you.
-
Professor Tribe's exact words, the other side of the coin.
-
I’m going to have to check Professor Tribe then.

No one can take away your ability to use contraception. There are so many options, no excuses.
-
You clearly don't know the history of contraceptives in the USA. The supreme court overturned the Comstock act. Look it up.
-
I am aware of history, I was referring to now.
-
Right, but if SCOTUS can roll back Roe, they can roll back the protections for contraceptives you are saying we should use.
-
I know I'm right. We don't need abortion, even after conception, there are other options now that we didn't have.
-
Says the white male who will never have to make this decision... So, for rape? Contraception? Incest? Contraception? Taking two birth control pills on the same say to induce abortion? Is that contraception?
-
I get your point but why did you have to say “white?” Could’ve just said male.......

-
Fair point, Dillon. Unfortunately, it only seems to be white males (and females) on this thread talking anti-choice.

I'm not female but I agree with the woman in the picturepic.twitter.com/HeoHi0lGoE

It/They are not pro-life, they are Pro-Birth and only Pro-birth. Because once they child is born they are without a doubt, done with it, the child and the mother. Forcing women to do what they think is right, fascism
-
Ever here of CONTRACEPTION? Look it up, it's cheap and effective.
-
Actually no it's not, a single condom is, but in reality contraception isn't cheap. You have to tie in Doctor's visits, then prescriptions. Plus contraception isn't a 100% effective, if the pill was more cost effective, available to all women it would be great
-
Planned Parenthood gives put free condoms, free exams, free birth control pills. Next
-
Oh, you mean the same Planned Parenthood they are trying to defund and already have defunded in a couple of states?
-
If you like PP, why don't YOU fund them? Taxpayer's money shouldn't be used for ripping babies from the womb to sell their parts to rabid liberals.
-
PP is reimbursed for services just like any other healthcare provider. Abortion is not eligible for reimbursement. No Fed $ ever funds abortions.
