Why did Obama and the Democrats allow Mitch McConnell to block Obama's constitutiional right to appoint a new SCOTUS justice? Democrats in Congress should have shut down all government functions over this by staging Congressional sit-ins & other acts to force McConnell to relent
-
Ooops Democrats tried to act like civilized politicians, that was their first mistake. Second mistake was Dems just aren't good at playing dirty like McConnell.

Your rights do not extend onto mine. You should not force me to do things your way to make you happy

lol.....how bad is it to be you, Senator? “The Court” isn’t about to roll back the issue of equal rights. But they have affirmed that in this particular case, and for this case only, the baker did have a right to his view. What’s so wrong with that, Senator?

If they don't want the business--go elsewhere. I know that's not the point, but having these people go out of business is their reward.

Is not the protection of the free exercise of religious beliefs already protected by the First Amendment? This decision merely aligns with our Constitution. The baker was in the right, the state government of Colorado was way in the wrong.

What a great day for religious liberty! Thank you SCOTUS. This will be used as a precedent regardless of the liberal spin.

More folks with real voices need to spread the fact that this was a narrow decision. Basically, SCOTUS decided that the regulation enforcement was discriminatory. They emphatically did *NOT* decide that the regulations themselves were discriminatory.
-
7-2 is not narrow.
-
You do not understand the legal term, "narrow". A 9 to zip opinion is still "narrow" if the applicability is highly constrained.
