Why not join with democrats to change the law?
The administration’s current family separation policy is an affront to the decency of the American people, and contrary to principles and values upon which our nation was founded. The administration has the power to rescind this policy. It should do so now.

Yeah... so its a few laws all together. 1) "Democrats" made it so criminal immigration = kids lost...(with a republician majority in house and senate). 2) Democrats made it so families are treated as a misdemeanor (when illegal) and unaccompanied go to camps.

...3) The Trump admin has slowed/stop asylum claims...people are waiting 6+ days without food and water so some get desperate and cross illegally... 4) 0 tolerance policy (Trump) means all convictions on illegal immigration is criminal... so kids are seperated.

Trump passed a policy and twisted the laws to work for him. Overall... Trump lied. Its not a democratic law. It is not the democrats who passed the 0 tolerance policy to treat all crossings illegal. He is forcing an immigration vote and using kids as bargaining chips.
