To be clear: this will be a bipartisan task force because combating hate is a nonpartisan issue. During a time when anti-Semitism is on the rise, it’s vital that we not allow ideology or partisanship to blur our perspective about right and wrong.
As @SenatorLankford and I launch this new initiative to combat anti-Semitism, we look forward to collaborating with the House Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Anti-Semitism, led by @NitaLowey and @RepChrisSmith, to work across chambers and party lines to fight hate.
Thank you. I applaud this bipartisan effort to combat anti-semitism. Together we can work to fight the growing hate in this country. I know there are more good people than bad - we just have to remember to stand up and speak out.
