They’ve already taken it up once and deadlocked in 2016. The SCOTUS will hear arguments in November 2019.

I support the full restoration of DACA and a path to citizenship for those who meet the program requirements. It makes sense to offer citizenship to qualified applicants who have spent the majority of their lives here, having arrived in this country as children.

Was DACA a constitutional act?

We will find out when arguments are heard in November 2019. Previously, in 2016, the SCOTUS deadlocked. I suspect we’ll see a ruling along party lines, unfortunately.

DACA will never be limited to the 800,000 number will be much larger and we will have a renewed DACA for years to come as long as the boarder remains unsecured and catch and release policy is in place.
