I looked after my maternal Grandma for 7 yrs. before she passed @ 94. Seven years later, I looked after my Momma for 8 yrs. before she passed at 88. She always worried about me (I opted out of having kids) saying “who’s going to look after you?”( my husband is 79 w/Parkinson’s).
