The U.S. Women’s National Team has won the most World Cup titles in women’s soccer history, adding tens of millions of viewers and shattering TV ratings across the country.
Despite all of this, #USWNT continues to get paid less than their male counterparts. I’m joining @SenFeinstein and my colleagues in sending a letter on behalf of the U.S. Women’s National Team demanding they receive equal pay. It’s past time we level the playing field. 
And they still aren’t getting paid as much as the men’s team.
Hockey, softball, all of the athletes deserve equal treatment. And protection from abuse. And don't forget Special Olympics. Men's soccer team payroll about, what 20 times, amount proposed to be cut from Special Olympics before uproar?
