Nevada teachers rank 3rd from last on a per-student-basis when it comes to pay. We need to do more to give our teachers a raise. I’ll work with @GovSisolak wherever possible to support our teachers and improve our education system.http://ow.ly/Ok3D30nw14d

Not how that works, schools don’t get more money from more taxes. There is a cap on how much they get. They are working to change the way the overall funding works for schools, so more money goes to schools. Look into it before jumping.

Governor Sisolak has put a pay raise for teachers in his budget. Whether or not it gets to them is beyond his control. We have enough administrators, and don't need more superintendents or asst. Superintendents.

Yes Jacky, we need to give the good teachers a raise. Unions have destroyed our public school system because of the union mentality. The amount of money spent per student does not equal outcome. Our current public school system should be scrapped and replaced.

Hmmm 3rd from the bottom in teacher pay and bottom of education rankings. That pretty much does correlate. When you’re teaching 40+ students in a class since the 90s, I’m not sure how anyone thinks not paying teachers works. It hasn’t and it doesn’t.
