The estimated cost of this troop deployment is $600 million which is 1% of our national defense budget. I am curious as to why it costs $101,694.91 per soldier that we send to our southern border. Please explain.
These deployments are costing the military & taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars. We must come together to develop sensible border security protections, but sending thousands of troops to the border won’t fix our country’s broken immigration system.http://ow.ly/VPS330nw18b
