It wasn't a bill to pay federal workers it was an offer to extend a continuing resolution to 2/28 that resulted in SOME employees receiving their first back pay. I don't know that it was a compromise. It's NOT something Mitch would've allowed a vote on or Trump would sign. STUNT

What I can understand is that today along with last Thursday. The house voted on a bill to give government workers their back pay only, no wall funding. Every Republican voted yes and almost every Democrat voted no. Why is that?
