Every day, seniors in Nevada and across the country receive a tidal wave of unwanted automated calls from telemarketers and scam artists. It’s not just seniors who are bombarded with telemarketing and scam calls. I’ve had to let my business line go to voice mail and call back clients and prospects just to screen out the plethora of junk calls I get daily. It’s disgusting.

Thank you for this attention to a problem most people know nothing about. And, it is not just via telemarketing it is through the mail also. Unfortunately, I had a few years experience with this issue as I cared for my aging mother & gradually took over her finances. 1/3

2/3 - I'm sure you have heard this type thing from many of your constituents. In short, I found about 1/3 of her net income being "donated" to an assortment (some good) of "charities". Monthly chges to her credit card, duplicate requests, donation requests that look like invoices

Yes we do..... and it’s not just seniors. There’s an app which helps on a smartphone, (AT&T Call Protect) but basically the calls are out of control.
