The implications of this bill are far reaching. If you get the government involved, small startups, DIY programmers, etc will have a much more difficult time developing their software, thus decreasing productivity in the field. The answer is education, NOT coercion!

Senator, great bill! It would also be great if you follow this up with a bill enforcing the "Federal DO NOT CALL" list, & also making it a crime for companies to broadcast a phone number NOT registered to them as Caller ID! Thank you from everyone that's had their ID stolen!
