I’ve been on the campaign trail with young kids, and I couldn’t have juggled those long days and late nights without childcare. This decision tears down a huge financial barrier for parents – especially mothers – thinking about getting #OffTheSidelines.http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/387116-fec-allows-female-candidate-to-use-campaign-funds-to-pay-for-childcare …

When my wife went to work because it was so expensive to live on Long Island with the ridiculous amount of taxes we pay. And it would have been awesome to have someone else pay for our childcare! Wow you politicians sure now how to take care of yourselves!!!

@POTUS @RepMaxineWaters @RealCandaceO @KamalaHarris @NancyPelosi @HillaryClinton Well, well, well. See how fast that happen. Because that was for the real Privileged. But, when it comes to the American people and their benefit you cannot vote. #BuildTheWallpic.twitter.com/YlxeDKK4pp

Wait, you make like $160,000 a year and you need to beg for money to pay for childcare? You should get vote for a Conservative government to help get your cost back in line.

        Candidates don't get paid $160,000 a year.

This case was brought by a candidate who is running. That picture is of the candidate, not Senator Gillibrand. Reading the article helps.

This actually applied to male candidates first who wanted to take their wives to political events - that was the precedent the FEC relied on.

Kirsten, perhaps now you can imagine those who “juggle long days and late nights without childcare” for their ENTIRE lives. Your entitlement is showing.pic.twitter.com/mGRCr2mP4l

The moral of this story is if you want free childcare, become a politician. You get Rich and get to use campaign money for anything!
