It has been 99 days since the House unanimously passed a bill to address sexual harassment in Congress. The Senate still hasn’t taken action. Taxpayers should never have to pay for politicians’ sexual harassment settlements. This should be something we all agree on.https://twitter.com/jparkabc/status/996455814369030144 …

If only you had taken advantage of the situation presented by the allegations against Franken to reform the whole process. It was the perfect opportunity. And you threw it away.

Maybe Senator Gillibrand could have spearheaded reforms that were nuanced enough to acknowledge that the alleged actions of Farenthold and Franken were not close to being equivalent.

Her biggest achievement is orchestrating colleagues to push Franken out. She worked hard on that one. (And I'll never, ever forget it, either.)

Tax payers have already paid a huge price over sexual harassment allegations in the name of Al Franken. If only public figures had shown true leadership and stood with him instead of jumping on the bandwagon.

Every one of her colleagues should beware, too. She showed what she will do if she thinks there is opportunity in it for her to throw them under the bus. (And you know who would NOT do that? Al Franken!)

Congress should never have approved the payment in the first place. He should be pursued to recover that money.

Everyone should forward this and then call your Senator and Mitch McConnell (202) 224-2541 to get this bill passed. Call them every day until it is passed!! Also, tell them that Farenthold should reimburse us for the $84,000 *we* paid.

That's appalling. Thanks for your unflagging attention to this hugely important issue. Also appalling: 60 Palestinians killed protesting Israeli's apartheid regime. When are you going to defy the right-wing Israel lobby and speak out against the Gaza atrocities? We're watching.
