It has been 94 days since the House passed a bill to address sexual harassment in Congress. The Senate still hasn’t taken action. I want your thoughts: Should the Senate pass a bipartisan bill to require politicians to pay for their own sexual harassment settlements?

And House/Senate should release names of all who have had payments for harassment.

The settlements and details of the case should also be public record, so that we the public- the employers of the congress - may decide on the continued employment of said employee

They most certainly should pay for their own settlements. Their job is to legislate on our behalf, not to harass.

Coming from the Senator who was literally elected by the money and efforts of sexual abusers: Clintons, Weinstein, Schneiderman.

My thought is you SURE jumped the gun and stabbed Al Franken in the back, ALL to bring notoriety to yourself, essentially over a juvenile, OBVIOUSLY staged photograph and for that we wont forget you. Like shooting yourself in the foot. #IWontVoteForGillibrandEVER

One of the few things I agree with you on. Taxpayer money should not be used for this. As much as I disagreed with Al Franken, I don't think he should've resigned, and you were a little too quick to throw him under the bus.

Sad, Congress needs to legislate accountability on felonious behavior & then beg for passage Sad day, when politicians routinely use public funds to pay off sexual conquests America needs to reboot it's moral compass Is all of this corruption just a mirror into our own souls?

You’re fiddling while Rome is http://burning.You  are not focusing on Middle America’s anxieties and you are losing their vote so you won’t be able to get any bill through. But keep at it while we lose the mid-terms

Lol, only a dem would vote no, but can you roll this bill into term limits for Congress as well, look at maxine waters, she has been there for like 30 and has yet to accomplish anything, 8 years should be the lifetime cap
