You can have both. The FAMILY Act would offer universal paid family leave without making you mortgage your Social Security.https://slate.com/human-interest/2018/04/new-study-republican-paid-leave-plan-will-undermine-social-security.html …

@RepStefanik and Trump are anti family values! Young starting families and retiring elders both are in their crosshairs... This is after she voted to ruin affordable healthcare! See you in November Elise..pic.twitter.com/DbYiraE0Gn

We who Resist are pushing for our Democratic Party to create an online forum better than Facebook and Twitter. All proceeds will go to our Party. It would be a billion dollars or more a year. The Blue Wave will never be a slave to Money again.

Our Social Security program already is financially shaky. Tapping into SS further just undermines its financial stability. Sounds like another Trump folly!

Kirsten, you'll have to use simple language; these people are NOT literate, nor do they grasp the simplest concepts of health care and economics. Perhaps there's a coloring book that explains it?

Most people wont do this, or arent capable of doing this and what about disabled who cant work and save? You must earn a lot of money or u wouldnt even suggest

We should treat adults like adults, not children. At the very least, you should have the right to opt out at any time, even if that means losing what you put in. SS is not designed for the disabled, and is not needed for them. If that's really you concern, there are better ways.

There are plenty of disability programs on federal and state levels. Depending on the severity of the autism, he can still work and save, and perhaps even be more responsible with his money than others. I'd also trade increased disability benefits for ending SS any day.
