So cute! But it must be nice to not have to worry about childcare, pumping, etc. Normal moms don’t have the luxury to bring their babies to work.

-
-
We need to change that!

-
Yes. I think childcare should just be more accessible for moms and dads. Don’t necessarily think babies should be around 24/7 (I know unpopular opinion amongst liberals). But accessibility and cost efficiency is key, in my opinion.
-
Who thinks babies should be around work 24/7?
That’s just silly. I don’t know any person that thinks that (let’s put labels aside).

Cute bit you realize the average woman cannot bring her infant child to work.

-
Senator Duckworth is setting an example for workforce’s everywhere. Obviously, some jobs it’s impossible like if someone is a doctor, nurse or firewoman.
-
This is an unrealistic gimmick.
-
I disagree, but that’s what is wonderful about America.
-
And let’s say this law isn’t about other women but only about Sen Duckworth. This woman gave both her legs in service to her country. I’m willing to give her a year on th Senate floor with her newborn.
-
While I honor and appreciate her service, I disagree. Children, especially infants at work are a distraction. Children do not belong in the workplace. When you are at work, you should be working. Period.
-
That’s ok. Recognize this is not an option for everyone. But it can work for some jobs.

She's learning the importance of governing early. Plus, she's far more mature and articulate than our so-called President. I get excited when parents bring their kids to the polls on election day. This is a whole extra level of awesome.

If the baby gets sick unfortunately. Would that be considered child abuse for exposing a child to multiple people who may or may not be sick at the time there around the baby. Not trying to be a butt. I just don't think we should change the entire U.S. To please everyone.

I am against turning the Senate into a daycare. Sorry but business is business playing with your kids taking care of your kids is an at-home thing. Children can be a distraction to say the least. Plus with no immune system to begin with they can get sick very easy.
