Wait, are you indicating that bullying out a sitting senator without any process whatsoever wasn’t a fair and effective way of addressing accusations?

A-freakin'-men! It was the perfect opportunity to reform the process; they'll never have as good again. And now she says THIS? Please. What hubris.

Washington shouldn’t handle it the way you did, calling for Senator Franken to resign before the real truth was ever told.
-
“Thank you for reminding people Franken at least had the decency to apologize for his behavior and step down in the face of the evidence against him (remember the photo?)~

Bring Franken back. It was a set up and you fell for it.

She was part of the set up.

Try using Due Process. Oh, I forgot, you don't like due process, do you?

As I have repeated asked you (as one of your constituents) Don’t you think it is time to APOLOGIZE to Al Franken and his constuents who continue to support him? What you concocted to remove the great alfranken was disgusting!!

No one likes you. You fell for an obvious trap, threw the most effective senator,
#Franken, under the bus for your political aspirations, and you think you are qualified to shape policy on this issue?

At this point I don't even think she just fell for it. I think she saw opportunity and went for it, intentionally conspiring. (Or even worse, but that's only on my most cynical days.)
-
I've wondered about this, too. But our lawmakers tend to not be the brightest of the bunch (not all, though) so I'm not sure what is going on.
-
She strikes me as much more conniving than dumb. Especially after watching her try to spin how she has "evolved" on so many issues. But it's just a gut instinct at this point. I simply do not trust her.

You won’t name any names of the people that you claimed harassed you but were quick to throw Franken under the bus.
-
@SenGillibrand didn’t make the accusation nor did she take or share the photo of Franken pretending to grab a sleeping woman’s breast. She merely said that is not acceptable. Franken apologized and resigned. If he was so innocent why do that? -
The only person making that photo public was Tweeden herself. Watch her with Robin Williams - just first 45 seconds - to see how USO people goof around with each other. That's what they do (and she KNEW that):https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OeTItrsqdJ8 …
-
And he resigned because Gillibrand orchestrated calls for his resignation from people who should have stood by him as he asked for an ethics investigation. It was what he wanted, and it was the only fair way to proceed.

I'll tweet about my senator, thank you very much. He was taking the GOP to task at every turn, incredibly effective.
-
Well goodie for you.
-
Gee, thanks! I've done my homework.
