Hoosick Falls has contaminated water and the governor has done nothing. Wanna help?

-
Actually, our finished water is not contaminated. While true that our aquifer is polluted, what comes out of the taps is clean and safe. We are working hard to find a new water source, as we see filtration as a temporary solution.
-
It’s not really clean enough to drink.
-
Many HoosickFalls residents agree with that statement. There is lingering concern about disclosure on use of chemicals.
-
Many? No, just a few. And it’s false. Just because people believe it doesn’t make it true. I fully share the trauma of the crisis w/the community. It took me a while before using water again so I understand the distrust. But tweeting opinion as fact is not helpful or productive
-
“There is lingering concern about disclosure on use of chemicals.” Concerns need to be addressed, not dismissed. Wasn’t it one person’s concern that lead to the discovery of
#PFOA? And wasn’t the dismissal of that concern what lead to the 18 months delay in response? -
Concerns have been addressed, and continue to be addressed. Tests are online and made public. Updates are given at practically every meeting - feel free to attend them. If you want to compare Village & state responses in 2014-15 to now, I would be happy to sit down with you.

Good Lord Lady! Have you talked to them about the challenges and obstacles they are facing? Maybe you could help! Doesn't look like they can even get their trucks in there. Puerto Rico STILL does not have power in most areas. Hurricane season is coming

I think that Puerto Rico would point out to you to have patience. That is what they have had to do. Just Patience.
