Teachers give their nights and weekends, dig into their own pockets to buy supplies and care for our kids as if they were their own. On top of all that, they shouldn’t have to struggle just to get by.

I fundamentally believe that one of the most important things we can do for our country’s future is invest in our kids. We need to do that now by investing in the women and men who spend their lives educating them.

plus I have an answer for teacher pay! As teachers strike for higher pay, parents are left without a place for their kids. How about we pay teachers like baby sitters? $3 hr x 8 hrs= $24 day x 30 kids=$720 day x 180 days= $129,000 . there you go!
