Never let anyone silence you. You are a force to be reckoned with. Keep demanding what you know to be right. Keep letting your messages and stories shake the halls of Congress.

And to my colleagues in Congress: It is our duty to listen to this next generation of leaders. We cannot let them down. It’s time for us to fight, harder than ever, to follow these students’ demands with real action to pass commonsense gun reforms.

The march may be over, but this movement is not. Keep raising your voices. Call your lawmakers. Educate yourselves even further. Donate to organizations fighting for change. And in November, vote out the members of Congress who won’t stand up to the NRA.

If I know evangelicals, there’s bound to be backlash. Those kids need to need to stand together against bullies!

WE adults need to stand between them and he bullies. Adults MUST do their jobs to protect them.

Kirsten, can you explain to the
#MarchForOUrLives
protestors why you and your 'concerned' Democratic colleagues didn't get tough with Gun Control in 2009, when you had @BarackObama and strong congressional majorities? Because I'd love to hear an explanation. - 1 more reply

Around the world Senator. These kids drew supporting protests around the world. No more complacency. We want change and we want it now. The
@GOP has proven themselves to be a party that doesn't care about the People. We're showing them that they made the wrong choice.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Sure for publicity you mean
-
Strong observation. That's why you have giant demonstrations. To get publicity for your cause. Solid work.
-
Not saying they don’t have rights but to exercise rights they need to be come voting age , join the service to get a true understanding of what life means when you humping across the desert w 11 dog tags of your friends because that’s all you can find then you know the meaning
-
I'm complimenting your take. You said that the March for Our Lives was for publicity. I said that it was a solid observation, since the function of a giant protest is to draw attention to a cause. Publicity. Marches. Takes. Nice.
-
Ok I’ll give you that but do you realy think all the Hippocrates “jumping on board “ public figures and political boobs “ realy care about the march , after the elections it will all but be forgotten because they know these kids can’t vote yet....
-
I don't know, man. Folks are marching because kids are regularly being shot in schools. I have a hard time calling them hypocrites.
-
The effort and expense endured to get noticed from travel to security, lodging, etc. would have payed for 1/2 of the total funding needed to put proper security’s into our schools nation wide, yes your heard now what NOTHING..... 2 admendment want be broken ;wasted resources
-
I don’t buy that. Redoing the national security infrastructure is going to cost more then getting a few street permits and renting portapotties. Sorry, man. That doesn’t add up.
