By ending DACA, President Trump created an avoidable crisis with very real impacts on our families and communities. He has the power to fix this problem today. Dreamers belong in this country and deserve to be part of our future. We must keep demanding action.

And what part of the fact that most of them came here as kids, with their parents fleeing in hopes of getting away from violence. The kids did not come here illegally, I don't care if they're not legal, they deserve to be protected, and not sent back to a country they don't know

Please take in an illegal family and take care of them for the rest of their life so the tax payers don’t have to. Your taxes go to build schools so illegals can attend. We need to take care of our own including homeless and vets before taking care of anyone else.

I agree we need to take care of our own, but remember that when Obama was POTUS he wanted to pass a bill to give more aide to vets, but the @GOP blocked it, cause they owned congress. But what has Trump done, he wants to take away food stamps, which military families need

Once again you have proven you care more about non citizens than the citizens. I have yet to see you get upset for splitting up a military family. Do us true New Yorkers a favor and resign.

It’s not the president’s job to enact new laws. That is your job.

How did he create it. It was a pseudo executive action. Elks vs Wilkins 1884, Slaughterhouse Case. Is it that crucial you need the votes.

Trump doesn’t have the authority as Obama didn’t have the authority but Congress has had the opportunity to help DACA out and create a path for citizenship but as usual Congress fail to act in a proper manner in a timely manner.

Trump ended DACA Democrats & Republicans in both the House & Senate have introduced at least 14 bills, the majority being bipartisan. Trump rejected them all.
